His latest project distills elements from the first two records, but adds an uptempo dance aesthetic to the mix. The music is still imbued with a hypnotic, otherwordly quality, but is layered with an infectious groove that moves the feet as it uplifts the spirit.

Composer and producer Karunesh’s newest album finds him collaborating with Indian classical musicians on traditional instruments. The songs here are a travelogue of humid green fields, temples, the rushing Ganges River, and the ancient mysteries infused in the water and land.
